Reigning Miss Nollywood Nigeria, Miss Gwendolyn Elohor Okutele has received royal blessing from the monarch of her native town of Okpe, HRM Orhue 1, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, Major General Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd).

The monarch gave his blessings when she called at his Orerokpe palace recently in Okpe Local Government area of Delta State.
Beautiful Ms Okutele who was accompanied by her father, Mr. Friday Okutele used the opportunity to thank the revered royal father for his consistent kind support during her reign earlier as the Face of Niger Delta and now as Miss Nollywood Nigeria.
She presented the King with a Certificate of appreciation for all his support and presented copies of Miss Nollywood Nigeria 2014 / 2015.
The beauty queen used the chance to inform the monarch of her enormous responsibilities of regularly assisting and mentoring the youths of Okpe kingdom in particular Delta and Nigeria in general who now see her as a role model. This provided a chance for her to invite the King to become the Grand Patron of her NGO.
While responding, the monarch described Queen Gwendolyn Okutele as a proud daughter of Okpe Kingdom adding that he would do everything to support her proposed NGO in his capacity as Grand Patron. He prayed that the beauty queen will one day become Miss Nigeria and eventually Miss World.
He enjoined her to always trust in God and continue to aim higher and higher in her aspirations in life. He drew attention to her philanthropy urging her continues to attract good things into their lives and consequently meet good people as well in her journey in life.
“Your commitment to helping the sons and daughters of Okpe kingdom is noticed and highly appreciated. Please take note that you are no longer who you were and you should be very careful in all you do going forward and avoid things that will bring shame and disgrace to the Okpe kingdom,” the monarch counselled.
In the audience were palace chiefs including, Chief P.E Asagba (Eye and Duke of Amukpe) and Chief Edeminaha (Secretary King ). Others include the queens family members such as, Mr Austin Okutele, Malcolm Tagbarha, Mrs Ufuoma Okutele, Mrs Aghogho Okutele and Mr Newton Origbo.
