Lebanese media mogul, Amin Moussalli has abruptly shut down his SportsON Newspaper business and paid off his staff.

Until its closure, SportsON Newspaper was published daily for two years and anchored by the famous Femi & The Gang sports crew that air on Nigerian Info 99.3FM and other sister stations like Cool 96.9FM and Wazobia 95.1FM.

An insider who spoke to ExpressNG confided that the publication could not break even after its owner sunk over N100 million into the project. The source who refused to be quoted for fear described the project as ‘brilliant but poorly managed.’

Amin Mousalli hit a rough patch recently when his confectionery franchise business, Chocolate Royale was indicted for selling expired goods by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).

The multi-billionaire oversees a large business interest that includes confectionery, TV and Radio among others.
