Hip hop queen, Beyoncé is the inspiration for a new skyscraper planned for Melbourne, Australia.
Their 68-story mixed-use tower is an explicit “homage” to the superstar and her video of dancers wrapped in stretch fabric.
“We’re going to trust you’ve seen the music video for Beyoncé’s Ghost,” says Australian architecture firm Elenberg Fraser.
“Its spiraling curves recall the twists and turns of a woman dancing in black cloth,” says the firm.
The structure has received planning approval, but no completion date has been announced.
