Court has granted Chris Brown joint custody of one-year-old daughter Royalty.
The 26-year-old appeared in court in Houston on Friday, where the judge granted all of his requests. The court issued a gag order against Royalty’s mother Nia Guzman, and also agreed to Brown’s figure of $2,500 a month in child support.
The singer was seeking 50/50 custody, while Guzman was pushing for supervised visits only, TMZ reports. He will be allowed to take his daughter home today.
Guzman was seeking sole custody, and wanted to block Brown from unsupervised visits with the little girl.
However, the judge ordered them to share 50/50 custody of Royalty, and the child will now move between them every four days.
The judge also ordered Guzman not to speak negatively about Brown or discuss the case on social media, reportsTMZ.
And the court agreed to let Brown continue to pay $2,500 a month in child support, instead of the $15,000 a month Guzman was seeking.
