Back in July, President Obama made history by being the first sitting U.S. president to visit a federal prison.
POTUS toured El Reno Federal Correctional Institution in Oklahoma to examine the effects prison has not only on the inmates, but their families and society.
Airing Sunday (September 27) at 9pm, the Vice and HBO documentary Fixing The System follows the president as he does his part in trying to reform the criminal justice system. The president’s visit came shortly after he decided to commute the sentences of 22 drug offenders.
