A new waxwork of provocative singer Nicki Minaj, which was approved by the singer, has been groped and molested at Las Vegas’s Madame Tussauds, forcing the museum to put on extra security.
Patrons – including men and women – have been taking photos of themselves in inappropriate poses with the figure and posting them to social media. The venue has responded by putting on extra security on to prevent the likeness being continually harassed.
Minaj gushed over the waxwork on Instagram when it was installed, posting multiple photos of the figure and writing: “I love it and I can’t wait to see it”. She also reposted photos of fan photos with the figure, which is a direct copy of one of her poses in the Anaconda music video.
