New Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi has been spotted emerging from the forest with the traditional crown Aare, which is believed to be given to the new ooni by the gods as a symbol that he has fulfill all traditional rites.
Oba Enitan Ogunwusi is expected to be crown as the ooni of Ife by the traditional chiefs today after he returned last night from ilofi, where he had been in seclusion, the ceremony is expected to be performed by the traditional chiefs in the palace without any public attendance.
The receiving of staff-of-office from the state government is expected to happen on the 30th November.
