It was a carnival-like atmosphere as award winning musician, David Adeleke (Davido) and music rave, Anidugbe Daniel (Kiss Daniel) thrilled guests at the launch party for the Denim range of Fragrance held on the 31st of October, 2015 at the Lagos Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.
The event which was organised by Integrated Indigo Limited to herald the official unveiling of the Denim range of fragrance brand which is being distributed in Nigeria by Daroc Nigeria Limited, a sales and distribution company and subsidiary of Cycrest Limited with headquarters in the United Kingdom.
The show attracted friends and trade partners of Daroc Nigeria Limited from both within and outside Nigeria, as well as A-list celebs like Denrele Edun, Zakki Aze, Yaw of Wazobia FM, Ben Ogbeiwi, and a host of others. The event, which was anchored by Nigeria Television star, Uti Nwachukwu, delivered lots of excitement to the guest including rib-cracking comedy performance by MC Acapella. The guests in theregular section were not left out as some of them won 3 iPad mini – and 2 Beats by Dre headphones.
On the event-night, the social media erupted with thousands of posts, facebook mentions and tweets which made the event – #Denimlaunchparty trend on twitter for more than four hours, according to trends map. The event remained on twitter trend list till morning of the next day.
The best-dressed couple (male and female) was rewarded with a whooping sum of N250,000.00 by Daroc Distribution Limited. Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Daroc Distribution Limited disclosed that Denim Range of Fragrance has been in the global market for over 40 years and is available in Body Spray, Shower Gel, and After Shave. He stated that the Denim body spray is registered with NAFDAC and comes in seven different fragrance namely; Original, Black, Musk, Illusion, River, Raw Passion and Desire.
Before the major performance byDavido and Kiss Daniel, Efemena Olori (Fefe) from CAPital Hill Records, and SJ, Sanusi Jafar took to the stage to perform some of their songs to the admiration of the guests. Immediately after the fireworks that greeted the unveiling of the Denim product, Kiss Daniel performed for about ten minutes before handing over the baton to Davido who performed with a full band for up to an hour.
Other side attraction includes;Black Carpet reception anchored by Osi of Beat FM and Pearl of SoundCity, Denim Fragrance Booth Experience and all guest handed a Goody Bag as a takeaway experience of the brand. The event still continued till the early hours of the morning, as VIP guests were thrilled to an all-expense paid after party at the African Bar of Oriental Hotel.
