Mnet To Broadcast Emmy Awards Live To Nigerian Audience

Nigerian TV audience would be able to follow live proceedings from the at 67th Emmy Awards scheduled to hold on Sunday 20 September at 23:00 GMT (11pm).

 

A statement by DsTV revealed that the live broadcast would begin with Red Carpet on E! Thereafter, M-Net will take viewers into the auditorium for the LIVE broadcast of the 67th Emmy Awards on Monday 21 September at 01:00 GMT (1am) with the Prime Time screening at 18:30 GMT (6:30pm) on M-Net channel 101.

 

Hosted by the hilarious Andy Samberg (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), DStv will showcase the live red carpet action to the awards ceremony taking place at from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles where the stars of DStv’s popular primetime programming will vie for coveted Emmy award.

Some of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars from various television programming genres have been confirmed to present the honors at the 67th Emmy Awards.

 

This initial group includes: LL Cool J two-time Grammy Award winner and Emmy Award nominee, Taraji P. Henson – Academy Award nominee and 67th Emmy Award nominee for her starring role in Empire; Terrence Howard – Actor, musician and producer, Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee, currently starring in Empire and Jimmy Kimmel – Emmy Award-winning host and 67th Emmy Award-nominated executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!
