Ahead the expiration of his September deadline, President Muhammadu Buhari submitted the much-awaited ministerial list to the National Assembly for deliberations.
The list was submitted to the Senate President at his office through the Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari in company of the Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang.
Earlier in the day, Senator Godswill Akpabio reminded Senate President out of curiosity, that President Buhari repeatedly assured Nigerians that the list of ministerial nominees would be forwarded to the National Assembly for consideration on or before the end of September.
The move attracted ‘mockery’ mostly from PDP Senators, but Deputy Senate Leader, Bala Ibn N’allah in defense urged the Senators to be calm adding that it was stick some hours before the day will end.
