A star-studded jamboree and an impassioned plea to end poverty rocked the Great Lawn in Central Park as more than 60,000 fans gathered Saturday for the fourth-annual Global Citizen Festival.
The feel-good event, timed to coincide with the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, featured performances by Beyoncé, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran and Coldplay.
There were performances from Beyoncé, Arianna Grande, Alicia Keys, Ed Sheeran, Chris Martin, Common and more.
Nigerian Rapper Ice Prince was in New York recently with other celebrities like Jay Z, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bono, Laverne Cox, Michelle Obama, Bill Gates, Joe Biden, Sophia Bush, Salma Hayek, Katie Hoes, Hugh Jackman, Becca, Kerry Washington, Chris Rock and many other A Listers.
The festival focused on plans to eradicate poverty globally by 2030. It held at the Central Park in New York City on September 26.
