Wilfried Bony will miss table-topping Manchester City’s clash against Watford after suffering a nasty gash to his leg.

The Ivory Coast striker, signed from Swansea City for £28million, put a picture on Instagram of himself in a large protective boot on Friday.

And manager Manuel Pellegrini confirmed he would sit out Saturday’s visit of the promoted Hornets but would be back following the looming international break.
