A quiet birthday ceremony was held in honour of iconic actor extraordinaire, Pa Moses Adejumo Olaiya popularly known as Baba Sala as he turned 80.
Dressed in a grey suit styled with his signature Fedora Hat, the prolific actor was chauffeur-driven to a private ceremony where he was feted by friends and family.
Baba Sala is ranked among other theatre greats such as Hubert Ogunde, Kola Ogunmola, Oyin Adejobi and Duro Ladipo.
He is popular for his early movies including Mosebolatan, Aare Agbaye, Tokunbo and Agba Man among others.
As a well-rounded entertainer, he was among those who discovered King Sunny Ade who played as his Lead Guitarist in his Federal Rhythm Dandies band in 1964.
