Triple MG boss, Ubi Franklin, is clearly surprised that his talented artiste, Iyanya’s hit track, ‘Mr Oreo’ didn’t make the cut and was denied an Headies nomination.
Iyanya was named on the recently released list, but only with a nomination for his single ‘Baby Daddy’ in the Best R&B Single category.
Ubi has a controlling stake at Made Men Music Group, where he has Iyanya, Tekno, Selebobo, Baci, Mystro and DJ Coublon signed.
According to Ubi who took to Twitter to make the claim, Iyanya’s 2014 hit single ‘Mr Oreo’ deserves to be among the works contesting for this year’s honors.
He also made a claim for DJ Coublon who was behind the success of track like, ‘Woju’ and ‘Laye’ by Kiss Daniels.
He also produced ‘Applaudise’ by Iyanya.
