Yoruba actress, Sotayo Sobola has explained why she diversified her business interests by launching a new multi-million-naira studio located in Magodo, area of Lagos.

The studio houses a state-of-the-art TV production studio that boasts of latest movie cameras, production gadgets and editing suite.

According to the graduate of Public Administration from Olabisi Onabanjo University, the studio aside being a business interest is also her legacy to the industry that has given her so much.

“This is not a project that I just woke up one day to do. It is something that I have been thinking of setting up a place of my own to do business. This is my 11th year in the industry and it is about that time I do a legacy project that will be identified with me. This studio will also serve as Sotayo Entertainment office address where we operate a 360 degree service to clients.

“I have been working very hard. As entertainers, you hear people wonder how much we make. If I tell you that I made all my money from movie making it is a lie. I do several things some of which people do not know. I am also a business contractor offering different services.

She added that her fans should expect a new movie from her stables entitled Iwa Ose Meji (Two weeks character). “I just completed it few days ago. Everything happened within two weeks. We are now at post-production and our fans can expect it soon,” Sotayo added.
