Following the revelation earlier today by ThisDay Newspaper on the recent decision by the Federal Government to build a helipad in President Muhammad Buhari’s hometown of Daura, Katsina state, various reactions have been spewed out, majorly on social Media.
According to ThisDay, the plans are underway so as to prevent the President from the stress of a long road journey from the state airport to his home.
“I can tell you that right now, they are building a Helipad in Daura and when it is completed he doesn’t have to fly to Katsina Airport again. Helipad is a kind of landing for Helicopters”, a source told the newspaper.
The revelation generated plenty of arguments and controversies on twitter, with PDP supporters and APC loyalists facing off in angry spats.
