Grammy-winning American poet, singer-songwriter, INDIA ARIE is now billed to headline the year’s edition of the runaway success jazz series tagged Sax Appeal which is hosted by Saxophonist, Mike Aremu.
The concert will also feature Nigeria’s finest PRAIZ and TIMI DAKOLO hosted by MIKE AREMU. The event will hold at the prestigious CONVENTION CENTER, EKO HOTEL on the 26th of June 2016.
SAX APPEAL is a concept of award winning musician, MIKE AREMU geared towards the Rebirth and Promotion of the Live Music Experience in Nigeria.
The event has been graced by leading Nigerian and foreign artists like the Grammy winning American, adult contemporary and smooth jazz saxophonist KENNY G, British jazz urban contemporary saxophonist and two time MOBO Award winner YOLANDA BROWN, Nigerian South Africa based guitarist, KUNLE AYO and South African Jazz and Afro Pop Singer JUDITH SEPHUMA. Others are YINKA DAVIES, COBHAMS ASUQUO, TOSIN MARTINS, WAJE and BEZ.
