According to some online sources, the Chairman of African Independent Television (AIT), Raymond Dokpesi has just been arrested by security operatives over arms deal scam.
The spreading arms purchase scandal involves the office of the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, and the theft of N2.1billion from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Sahara Reporters broke the news of his arrest, citing the cause as a $2.1B arms purchase scam involving the NSA.
The Media entrepreneur, is said to have collected a sum of $2.1B from the NSA but failed to deliver.
Mr. Dokpesi was arrested shortly after noon, Nigerian time, and whisked to the EFCC, where he is now being interrogated.
