Nigerians have been reacting to the apology tendered yesterday by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for abandoning ‘zoning formula’ to field Goodluck Jonathan.
The Chairman, National Planning Committee of PDP conference, Dr. Raymond Dokpesi made the statement at a news conference in Abuja on Tuesday.
Dokpesi said the party ought to have allowed the northern part of the country to complete its term when former President Umaru Yar’Adua died in 2010.
ExpressNG followed some reactions on micro-blogging site, twitter and reproduces below…
Let’s all take a moment and laugh at the PDP for saying, fielding Jonathan was a mistake and begging for forgiveness.

If PDP is trying to appeal to pity and think fielding Jonathan doomed the party, they are harming the party the more! That’s all.

Fielding Jonathan, A Mistake – Dr. Raymond Dokpesi. Then, he confessed that his AIT documentaries were efforts to reverse it.

PDP is in a serious decline. They can’t push the sort of opposition APC did. Now they’re blaming fielding Jonathan for their woes. Too bad!
