Thousands of South Africans on Friday attended birthday bash organised for Nigerian born Prophet T.B. Joshua on Friday in South Africa.
The founder of Synagogue Church of All Nations was born on June 12th, 1963 in ArigidiAkoko, Ondo State, Nigeria.
According to a poster published on the religious leader’s official Facebook page, award-winning US Gospel Artist, Vashawn Mitchell who performed at the event said; “We are excited to announce that on Friday 12th June 2015, the relations of the martyrs of faith, survivors and The SCOAN Family of Southern Africa will be hosting a special birthday celebration in SOUTH AFRICA on the occasion of Prophet T.B. Joshua’s birthday.”
Last year in September, more than 100 people died when a church building belonging to preacher TB Joshua collapsed, 85 of the victims were South African.
A South African government official speaks at birthday bash said TB Joshua’s celebration had united Africa and mended the wounds caused by the xenophobic attacks some months earlier.
