South African rapper, Cassper Nyovest has responded with a new diss track to AKA’s “Composure.”
In his new song entitled “Dust 2 Dust,” Cassper Nyovest addresses many of the recent media reports on AKA (real name Kiernan Forbes) including his split from long-time girlfriend and baby mama DJ Zinhle, rumours of an affair with TV and radio presenter Bonang Matheba as well as a club incident where Cassper Nyovest was slapped by AKA.
On DJ Zinhle’s split from AKA, Cassper said – “Zinhle left you in public – and I don’t blame you sis, they say it’s nearly impossible to raise two kids; when one lives in a movie and he just don’t wanna man-up.
In the five-and-a-half-minute track, Cassper also openly accuses AKA of having an out of control drug habit, using other artists’ music without crediting them, not owning any of his music – including his diss track, needing features to have hit singles as well as using vernac rappers like Khuli Chana and JR to appeal to the urban audience. He also calls out AKA on living in a house owned by record label boss Oskido and accepting all of the deals (for less) that Cassper turned down.
As the two rappers continue to go back and forth it seems there’s no end in sight of their feud.
