A certain Hermann Brice De Souza from Benin Republic-born France-based football agent applied for the vacant Cote D’Ivoire national team job on behalf of sacked Eagles boss, Stephen Keshi.
Documents sighted by our correspondent at the Nigeria Football Federation office in Abuja revealed that De Souza submitted Keshi’s application on June 11.He (the agent) however wrote to the Ivorian Football Federation on June 20 seeking for a withdrawal of the application. De Souza is not known to be one of Keshi’s representatives and the Big Boss has denied knowledge of the application, arguing that it neither came from him nor his known agent, Emmanuel Ado who negotiated his contracts (both first and second contracts) with the NFF.
Complete Sports also gathered that Keshi’s Curriculum Vitae (CV) submitted by De Souza did not include Keshi’s achievemnents as Super Eagles coach at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and the semi-finla placing on first attempt by the Home Eagles at the African Nations Championships held also in South Africa in early 2014.
