Sensational singer, Wizkid officially hit his first number one top spot on the Billboard ‘Hot 100’ chart for the week ending May 21.

The song rose from number two last week to beat American Rapper, Designer’s monster hit song entitled Panda to the second spot.

This great feat made him the first Nigerian and African artist to lay claim to the biggest song in America.

The great achievement is courtesy of his feature on Drake‘s monster single, ‘One Dance’ which is also Drake’s first ever No. 1 track as a lead artist on the Billboard charts.

Billboard shared the news on their website – “Drake celebrates his first No. 1 as a lead artist on the Billboard Hot 100(dated May 21), as “One Dance,” featuring WizKid and Kyla, climbs 2-1. The track is from his new album, Views, which, as previously reported, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his best sales week and a record-setting weekly streaming total.”
